Default Forced to fold top pair on the bubble?

PokerStars Tournament, Big Blind is t400 with t25 antes (4 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com

CO (t913)
Button (t3985)
SB (t6727)
Hero (t1875)

Preflop: Hero is in BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
<font color="red">CO raises to t800</font>, <font color="gray">Button folds</font>, SB calls t600, Hero calls t400

Flop: (t2500) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
<font color="red">SB bets t1200</font>, <font color="gray">Hero folds??</font>

I have to fold, right? If I call, shortie can fold and there's a pretty good chance I'm beat.

All-in pre-flop. You only have to beat the shortie - and you're good a lot against their range.

If CO is at all aware (I know it's a big assumption), he can still fold if I push preflop. CO can be pretty sure SB will call me.

i fold pf and am happy to have the shortstack and BU clash here. minraising is fishy ofc, but may indicate a monster here.
besides, its push/fold pf, calling is not an option and with A2 up against what might be a monster and sb probably calling small PPs/stronger aces/strong drawing hands.

Just let this one go pre-flop and hope the CO takes out the SB.

Sick spot. I thought I liked the call preflop until SB lead out, now it doesn't look so sweet. Didn't you message him preflop that you'll call and check it down until shorty gets his money in?

fold at every opportunity. Like, CO's range here is gigantic, sure, but you can't shove because he folds and the SB wrecks you. You're ahead of SB's range, too, but not by a particularly wide margin. Seems way more +ev to let this one go and watch the CO bust.
