Speaking of Paul, I heard in Legislation that he was on The Daily Show last night. Feel free to bump the official video thread with that.

I think Paul will also be on The Colbert Report tomorrow. CNN commentators seem to keep saying that all of the Republicans are pro Iraq War. I don't even think they listened to what Ron Paul had to say. Are people actually buying into Guliani's "we must stay on the offensive." Does he want to invade every middle eastern country? How is he going to beat the Democratic nominee with this position?

EDIT: Ron Paul will be on The Colbert Report Wed. June 13th, not tomorrow.

What's the tone of the Colbert report. He's a political comedian that basically blasts the right, correct?

Yeah, I buy into it.

Unless its Gore running for the dems, there is NO way I'm taking any of those guys over Giuliani. Maybe Kucinich, but...yeah.

Yes, but is very prone to use his character to strawman economic conservativism.

I have a feeling that the Colbert Report interview will go something like this:

COLBERT: "Now, you're against the war...don't you think we have to do something? Sure, maybe it was the wrong decision, but the point is we're there now and the only way to safely exit is to make sure that we put as much money and as many troops over there as possible. Come on, Congressman, they hate us for our freedom!"

PAUL: *laughs*

COLBERT: "But I am with you on getting rid of medicare and social security; these poor people need to suck it up and claw their way up by their bootstraps. High five!"

Either way, Colbert is an excellent comedian and it will be a very funny interview

Did anyone watch the CNN spin afterwards? Who'd they claim won the debate?
