Re: Wolfmother
I really have no opinion of this band, except for the fact that I like Led Zeppelin and Wolfmother's website annoys me.
Mike Patton, on the other hand, clearly states his opinion about Wolfmother. Mike Patton on Wolfmother... |

Re: Wolfmother
I'm gonna give it a B-. Two things that bother me are that each of their riffs reminds me directly of a different Led Zeppelin riff, and the singer's voice is a bit on the whiny side. But all-in-all it's a very listenable album.

Re: Wolfmother
They are in Memphis tonight. None of my buddies like this type of music, so I'd have to go alone (sucks), or I can experience my new HDTV with Cable. Tough decisions.

I hear more Deep Purple and Black Sabbath influences than Zep.

On 3 or 4 songs off the top of my head, it's add a note here, slow it down/speed it up, and you have a Zep riff. Not that there's anything wrong with that per se, just something I noticed. |

Re: Wolfmother
From what I've heard, I don't like. That dude's voice irritates me. Anyway, here's a link to a video of Mike Patton of Faith No More fame talking about what he thinks of Wolfmother.
