lol indeed, but against this described villain at this level i dont think this is even a draw and rarely a queen

its prolly 2P or str8, for some reason i think he checks a set more often than those hands, and sometimes has QT,J,K,A

i dont have pstove with me but if you discount the queen hands and the sets and put all combos of the 2P str8s in i think its a close fold

Here's the thing, though. The real question is how does his large push affect his likely range? Barry Greenstein has written very well about this in his book. He recounts a hand where he was a huge odds dog to have the nuts, but actually did. The guy who called went into a big odds discussion, but Greenstein points out that, to him, it was 100% obvious he had th enuts since he never would have gone all in otherwise.

[/ QUOTE ]
That was on the river of a pot-limit 7-stud hi/lo hand, a game in which massive amounts of information are available about your opponents' hands. As Barry explained it, he knew what the other guy had on 6th after he pot-raised (straight and 6 low), but had a live two-way draw, so he called; he then shoved river after hitting both draws.

A clown at small stakes moving all in for a big overbet on the flop means "he has a piece of it". That piece can be almost anything. People move in with AJ here. Yes, they do.

of course they do...but this hand is so different:
he CR, not open shoved
no str8
unlikely 2P combos

lol, I think you have it backwards. I'd at least consider folding if the villain in the op had c/r this flop rather than open shove.
