I am keeping at least a 10' radius away from you, as you may receive more flames than any poster in the history of 2p2. But, for advice on getting started playing online poker, the top 3 things to remember are:

1. get rakeback
2. get rakeback
3. get rakeback

Instead of poker room suggestions, I'll make some thread starting sugestions.

1) Black is a fine color...nothing wrong with posting in black.

2) Try to be a little less vague with your questions. No, actually...a LOT less vague. What do you play? what stakes? Where have you played already? What are you looking for? What are your criteria?
