I own a gun to protect my family and myself from anyone who may attempt to violate us by violent means. It is my understanding that police are not even legally obligated to protect individuals so I'm sure to exercise my right to own the tools that may come in handy in a self defense situation. I don't like counting on strangers for anything if I can help it.LINK

I found this every Ironic considering the situation.

I own several shotguns for trap, sporting clays etc. I have a couple shotguns for stopping people from trying to do harm to myself or my family. I have several handguns mostly for the same purpose. I am underpowered in the rifle department, which i need to remedy quickly should the British attempt to retake their colonies.
