Default 3--JJ River Call of Small Bet a Waste or Reasonable?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (10 handed)

Sunday morning game. Players are pretty reasonable. Not seeing donkey goofball moves like I do during prime time (evenings).

Is calling this river a total waste or reasonable?

BB's bet seems a bit weak but there's not much on this board I'm beating except maybe split tens. I don't think BB would bet them but the bet is pretty small and offering 7:1. I think his most likely holdings are a Queen or weak Ace.

I bet 250-300 on this flop. Those high cards may look scary to him as well and your CB may just take it down.

The small river bet is c10% of your remaining stack. Save it. These are called value bets for a reason.

Ew, betting this flop is horrid.

PF making it 3xBB (t150) is plenty, just makes any c-bet or anything you have to do slightly cheaper for you.

I'd probably call this river, cos yeah the odds are fairly decent and I think he has a T or 7 or another pocket pair as often as anything else... any larger river bet makes me fold tho for sure.

I was thinking that heads up we could possibly take it down on the flop.

I didn't think it was spew and Im glad I took the time to post in this thread.

Now I have learned something as well.

C-B'g the flop might not have been a bad idea. Turns out he had a Queen. Maybe he would have folded it.
