Re: Full Ring vs 6 max
Yes
Biggest disadvantage is its hard to get action on fish in full ring. In shorthanded if there is a fish at the table, he is in every pot. |

Re: Full Ring vs 6 max
lol corsakh,
I learned to play at FR, but after 2 year of 6m everytime I sit at a FR table it just doesnt feel right. Also, if your having trouble getting paid off with big hands, I'd say table selection is a far bigger issue than wether to play FR/6m. |

Re: Full Ring vs 6 max
I think I have been thinking the wrong way. I would have thought full ring would be way looser with more beginners so they could be exploited easier. It seems however that their beginner status and lack of experience will yield more nitty tables than 6 max. I do head off a lot of straight up bluffs at 6 max I might never see at a full ring table, at least at the micro limits. Looks like staying at 6 max is probably more profitable. Thanks for all the responses.

Re: Full Ring vs 6 max
AZ I have thought the same thing about selection. I always try to find a table at 25nl that has flops seen % of 30 or higher with a 4 to 5 dollar average pot. Am I thinking right or is there more to it than that?

Re: Full Ring vs 6 max
I don't know what site your at, but at FTP I focus on having at least 1 mega-drooler(65+ VPIP, you know the type) at everyone of my tables. I think that is far more important than other statistics you might use to table select.

Re: Full Ring vs 6 max
I never used it for my tourney play but seems like Pokertracker is a need to have for money games. I play only at Pstars right now.
