Stupid $100 hand

$100 on Bodog. I am primarily interested in the oppinion of those who play these games.

Villain had lost a big hand three hands ago when he flopped a set on a QJ7 flop and got it in on the J turn (he lost to QJo obv). He folded the next two hands and is now down to 430 chips.

I have 2500 chips, avg is 2750.
SB - 2500
BB - 1700
15/30 level.

Villain is UTG +1 and shoves for 430. hero is on the button with 88, hero...?

Obviously if he is rational this is a fold, but is he irrational/tilting enough to make this a reshove?


PS - this is the type of hand that, even if the HSMTT cut off is $100, certaintly should always remain in LSMTT

People here don't realize they still have 14bbs so they think they're a lot shorter than they really are and get desperate.

Shove. I don't wanna just call and invite other people as I think our hand is well ahead of pusher's range but wouldn't fare so well if someone else calls. I wouldn't wanna just raise and fold to a shove because I'd feel so dirty.

Heck, some bodog players are so bad that you might still get called with 66 or something odd as such. I've seen someone call with a similar situation with A5. Go figure.
