Re: Making Someone An Offer On A Domain
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] A friend of mine is selling his domain right now. The last of the negotiations I heard was that he turned down $250k. I'm not sure if the other party has countered yet. FWIW this domain name is longer than 10 letters and I didn't think it would attract nearly that much money. Apparently these things can become quite expensive. [/ QUOTE ] Will Someone Pleassssssse comment on this claim. I cant imagine this is true. [/ QUOTE ] Review this list of reported domain sales |

Re: Making Someone An Offer On A Domain
Nice list sniper.
I see some good deals on there (Wrestling.com 500K) and some horrible ones (Flowers.mobi 200K) |

Re: Making Someone An Offer On A Domain
Ok, so last night I sent the administrator an email confirming whether or not he/she had recieved the offer. The reply was "Thanks for the offer but we're not interested."
What now? I have a feeling if I say $75 or something he's just going to say the same thing...so should I ask if he wants to work with a domain appraiser or something? |

I have followed the domain name market for a long time and those numbers are very possible. dnjournal.com lists weekly sales every tuesday. people are paying way too much these days for domain names in hopes of getting their money back by parking their domain at a ppc site like fabulous.com or google. i think they fail to realize that with so much click fraud going on, the ppc model is going to change to a ppa (pay per action) model. that will reduce a lot of the click fraud and will have a dramatic impact on the bottomline the domain name used to yield. |

Re: Making Someone An Offer On A Domain
Wow great info. That is crazy that a name would be worth so much. Is there any chance that a 100,000K name is still unregistered?
