Default couple sucky hands

I have a couple of hands im not sure about, here they are

1)

Hand 1 bet the flop, if he calls you are likely beat but more often than not you'll take it down here.

Hand 2 I'd probably fold preflop, but if I'm playing then raise, calling doesn't achieve anything.

Also maybe consider raising more preflop, to 3.5-4BB rather than just 3.

1) bet flop, river is bad
2) raise/fold pre, lead the flop, river is fine.

Yep. The river play in hand 1 is really really bad. He clearly has an ace or nothing here so check/fold is good and if you want him to fold the ace checkraise is the way to do it, not bet (if you were hoping to fold a weak ace with your bet here).
