Default What is this donk doing??

Reads

He is 26/5/1.3 over 38 hands.

He seems to trap, but never min bets.

Ex: He is in BB with ATo, button and sb limp. He limps. He cc $2 (1.5 pot) on ATKr, he leads for $3 (5.5) on Qo, leads for $10 (11.5) on 5o.

Ex: He calls a pfr in sb w/ K6s, he donks $1 (4.5) on K2s9 into me, calls a raise to $4 and a Qo and As check through.

I was going to check and then bet river or call a reasonable bet on turn.

A flush draw hit turn and I didn't think he would min bet with a king. I was pretty sure my queen was good at this point.

On the other hand, he can take a free card. By betting the min on turn he is opening himself up for a CR. Did he flop/turn a monster?

He called flop and bet strong on turn/river when he flopped two pair before.

River bet was for value. </font>

Bet or check/call turn, but i dont fold to min bet.

Raising just seems -EV, you fold tonnes of stuff and im not very bothered about protection. Id rather not protect and not spew, then spew and protect sometimes.

as played, check fold river i guess.

a lot of idiots take this line with the straight here because they hope that you will react as you did and go crazy with a mediocre holding. Their 50 cent bet looks weak so you hate to fold to such a ridiculously stupid bet, but calling basically allows them to run over you on most rivers and they get this info very cheaply.

I was worried about looking weak and just geting pushed off my hand on river.

If I just call turn and then value bet river, he can pretty much shove and be confident I have one pair at best.

Who cares if he bluffs you out with [Insert his range you think he bluffs you with here lol] (ill help, QT and nothing else), seriously your behind a heap.

Check his stats for an idea, and your previous read/hands for an idea of his approach to big hands.

Your behind with poor odds, seriously.

I'm pretty sure I'm behind on the river once he calls turn raise.

I was talking about if I just call his min on turn and then value bet river.

This turn check-raise is ridiculously bad. I'd call and fold to a serious river bet.

Range:

Based on the previous action, I checked to see if he would bet big.

He didn't so I didn't think he had two pair/set.

Before he calls my turn raise I think his range is 77-TT, and one pair hands Qx, Jx. My raise was strickly for value.

He seems donkish and I didn't expect a fold from AJ or TT.

Obviously when he calls his range is dramatically different.

I would eliminate the 77-TT, but prob keep AK, AJ, AQ, JT, TQ, KT-KQ. I guess sets and the straight are in there too. Maybe some funky backdoor flush cards.

When I CR he has to know I'm going to follow up with a bet on the river. If he called $9 on turn w/ AJ I think he will call $12 (into the much larger pot).

Where is my logic flawed?

If you just call on the turn, the pot will be $13 on the river.

Are you calling a PSB on river or how much?

Thanks.
