Re: New PokerStars Data Policy
[ QUOTE ]
The thing is many sites will still track and display the data underground like N82 said. I think most players who play full time replace their computers every few years meaning they have an old one that they could easily check the DB on while playing on the other. So basically Stars won't be accomplishing too much by doing this. I would rather they put the extra effort into regulating the multi accounters and other shady things that go on in online poker than try and stop something that most don't have a problem with. [/ QUOTE ] Yea, I've already had two requests from people via AIM for me to set up an underground Stars db. I plan on focusing on another project, so I won't be doing it... but I'm sure someone will. It's really only a matter of time I think. |

If they opt "in", you can display everything, and if they opt "out" you remove their tracking altogether? Shouldn't be a huge issue, should it? I mean, what top player is opting "out"? |

Re: New PokerStars Data Policy
If it ever comes to the point where I cannot use PokerTracker on Stars, then I will basically move 100% of my action elsewhere (except random MTTs)

Re: New PokerStars Data Policy
Guys, this has nothing to do with PokerTracker as far as I can tell. It's just about 3rd party databases.
