In over 1300 hours at CP I've never heard a gripe to a player about a tip. The dealers will sometimes chat with regulars, and sometimes will even discuss tipping discretely, but they know better than to ever bitch about it. The floor there is generally on the ball and they put up with zero crap from players or dealers.

Players chatting with dealers is likely less, "I'm so cool because I know the dealer from outside of here," and likely more, "I'm a degenerate who plays here constantly, and I've gotten to know the dealers from seeing them over and over again."

The reason this thread is so lame is that players getting booting for repeated f-bombs or getting cut off for being drunk is incredibly routine.

The dealers at CP are great. There are 4-5 that I genuinely don't like, but am terrible about names.

I got told by a dealer, while blowing off steam w/ a buddy at 2/4, that if I wanted to drink I should go to the bar because I was annoying this older guy that took forever to do anything. I told him he's very wrong and probably doesn't want me telling his superiors he was trying to diminish alcohol sales.

I was a dick, but he handled the whole situations just horribly.

We'll likely lose the former Hinckley dealers who haven't moved down here, including the many kids/delightful Maria once the new room opens.

Based on how you keep telling everyone all over 2+2 about your 1300 hours, I'd bet you are one who chats with dealers...

Yet, instead of just reading my post and moving on, you've read all five pages. And posted. How lame does that make you

[/ QUOTE ]

No, those are Wed.

Mon and Thurs are the $100 donkaments.

When did they start running $100 donkaments? I haven't been down there for a while, but if I remember right their tourneys were $200 and $400 and the occaisonal small buy oddball tourney in the morning with very limited entry.
