I agree that he is less frustrating to play then the players you mentioned, was just surprised you said he was spewy. my interpretation was that he was on the nitty side.

Isn't this group of "biggest winners" relatively new to the limit? Where are the biggest winners from 3 years ago? I never see them on the site. Is it just me or have all the previous best players been run off from pokerstars? Surely some of the biggest winners of 2-3 years ago were good enough to remain the biggest winners of the last year. What is the explanation?

they've moved up or to different games or different sites, how is that so hard to fathom?

a group of small and midstakes guys run hot, move up, they stay there for a while, some stick bc they keep running hot, some of them get crushe dand move back down, and some have such a weird style that works well they kind of adapt and keep winning.

oh and some are actually pretty good and they learn real fast while they're there and they are winnesr at the stake.

I used to play 5-10nl regularly at stars for 3-4 years under feltbot, and did quite well. I quit it shortly after neteller fiasco as the site started giving me the willies. I didn't have a drawdown to speak of, just a disconcerting string of weird results in the big pots.

My question in previous post comes from this observation: whenever I peek back at Pokerstars to see what's going on, I don't recognize ANY of the names I used to play with a year and more ago . Not in 2-4,3-6,5-10,10-20,or 25-50. No-one, nowhere. Many of these players were supertough and strong winners.

What happened? How is this possible on a site that's on the square? Surely the strongest players would still be there year after year.
