Default 10NL: 88 in BvB RR Pot

Reads: Villain seems a solid player - I haven't seen him make any big mistakes yet. Definitely seems to be a thinking player. I have raised the last 2 pots when folded to me in the CO and on Button, and although I had legitimate hands each time, we never went to the flop so it looks like I could be on a stealing streak. I feel the RR PF is testing me to see if I actually have a legitimate hand and that the BB could be making this play light.

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.05/$0.10
6 players

Stack sizes:
UTG: $9.85
UTG+1: $10.15
Button: $9.60
Hero: $12.90
BB: $10.35 (23.88/9.92/12)~70hands

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is SB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
3 folds, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $0.4</font>, <font color="#cc0000">BB raises to $1.2</font>, Hero calls.

Flop: T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($2.45, 3 players)
<font color="#cc0000">Hero bets $2</font>, <font color="#cc0000">BB raises to $4.9</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero ?</font>.

I typically don't play many BIG pots, so it's a little out of my comfort zone. His Raise on the flop rules out playing at me with air, however, I'm feeling that he could think I'm being overly aggro and that his A-Middle/High could be good here. I don't want to fold what is "probably" the best hand, but I think it's Jam or Fold time.

Any advise is very much appreciated.

I think its fold time.
As played i dont think a push is good, no worse hand is gonna call you and you dont have any FE.
I would just c/f flop maybe c/rr the flop because hes pretty aggresive.

i think most of the time this type of players are on a draw here.
maybe 20% of the time they may think that we have nothing and try to push us out of the pot.
folding isn't bad but in your spot with your read i push.
