Seems like it would almost make more sense to get more than 8 people involved in renting that room. I don'on't think it'd be too hard to get people to throw down. But more people = more problems, always.

Itd only be like 15-30 per day if you got 6-8 people I think. Not sure what the rates are exactly. Meanwhile would be huge convenience for many reasons.

Will be there weekend of 6/15; playing satellites and the 1500 NL event that weekend. Had a great time last year; I was only able to swing a few days away from work but found the sats profitable and soft up to and including the $500 level. Didn't play the $1k ME sats, but heard they were tougher and lasted longer. The $500s have slower structures and a bigger starting stack, as I recall (but I can't recall the specifics).

I'll be driving down June 27th, staying at fabulous Sam's Town. My wife is playing the $1k Stud/8 event on the 28th. I'm non-poker working / playing satellites until the $1k SHOE event on July 1st, where I plan to crush a field of mostly old people from New Jersey. Leaving ???

I'll be there from June 28 - July 3. I havent decided for sure where Im staying yet, but it'll probably be the Orleans.

I dunno whether I want to play the 1500nlhe at the wsop or a couple of the Venetian deep stack games. Maybe I'll see you there Slim.

Update: I've booked a room at Imperial Palace for June 27 and 28. The wife's $1k Stud/8 event starts June 28th, 5pm. Then it's off to a local friend's house for June 29 and 30 because it's cheaper. I'm playing the $1k SHOE event on July 1 as long as I don't go busto before then. Hopefully live poker is less rigged than online. Finally, it's back to IP July 1-5, although I have no idea how much poker I'll be playing post SHOE event. My wife is headed back whenever she gets bored so I might have an extra bed. You don't even have to cuddle me for it.

lol IP. We were gonna stay there but that got nixed because last time that we stayed there, on the very first night two of us dropped $500 without much recollection of it (I didn't remember about the "champagne pit" until reminded of it) and a third had to be escorted back to our room by security after the poker room kicked him out. At 11am. As he passed out, he was screaming something about having a larger penis than all of us, for a good 10 minutes. He, btw, is the one who has sworn never to go back to that place.

So anyways, yeah I'm arriving on June 29th, leaving July 3rd. We're staying at Bally's.

I'm gonna try to satellite into the $1500 NL event on Saturday, and the one with the larger penis is prolly playing it too but buying in direct.
