Default 5/10NL - Weak?

I'm playing solid and not getting out of line (that they caught) and my opponent is pretty solid as well. Who plays this different and how? fwiw, my smallish turn bet was meant to represent a flush begging to get called.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $10 BB (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

UTG ($1201.75)
UTG+1 ($988)
Hero ($1267.50)
MP2 ($894.35)
MP3 ($190)
CO ($1109.75)
Button ($1074.50)
SB ($867.50)
BB ($1847)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
1 fold, UTG+1 calls $10, Hero calls $10, 4 folds, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($40) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG+1 bets $40, Hero raises to $100, SB folds, BB folds, UTG+1 calls $60.

Turn: ($240) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG+1 checks, Hero bets $100, UTG+1 calls $100.

River: ($440) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG+1 checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: $440

I think you're overthinking. Bet more on turn so that if you are check raised you can easily throw it away, especially without a diamond in your hand. Check behind on river is fine as you are going to have trouble getting called by any hand that you beat.

Default Meh. Results.

He had KQo and we chopped it up. I didn't like the hand b/c I'm pretty sure a solid player (that I percieved my opponent to be) isn't calling the turn with a weaker Q, but a river bet will get rid of AQ/KQ often times to be worth it.

Anyway, haven't played in a couple of months and now trying to "get back in shape." Any help appreciated.

Kirk

your flop raise is wretched.. raise more. alot more. id make it 160.

turn is weird too

generally though this is OK played, it's a medium sized pot which was limped where you have tp2k, so it's fine. I hope he had jt / qj / etc.

Do you normally make semi-bluffs that give your opponent 3:1 on the flop?

who cares?

it doesnt matter what you would do with X hands, it only matters what you do with what you have (if that makes sense)

and here your raise is too small, gg.

He should, because giving someone 3:1 when you're trying to make them fold isn't a great way to achieve that goal.

What the hell is the difference between what you'd do with X hand and current hand? There aren't 2 different hands when you're trying to represent only one.

I concur.

umm,lol ???? I would be raising this flop not because I'm bluffing (and hoping he folds).

Either I dont understand a word you wrote above or you didn't understand what I wrote. The latter is more likely then the former.

Ok, I'll answer this with a simple question: Why would you raise the flop?
