Is there anywaY I can expect them to lay down a weak ace with my push on the flop?

[/ QUOTE ]
No. Why call a raise with an ace and folds when an ace flops?

I think you should just do what you've been doing to take down the blinds. Hopefully you've been shoving and you can shove here, this widens their calling ranges to maybe include 99/TT etc etc. I agree with Shaundeeb, c/c is clearly the best line on this flop.

Well I recently just lost a big pot so I only had to push one hand preflop when i had about 8 BB. I usually never push under 10 bb. Is this standard? Or should i be open pushing up to 15 BBs or so?

I raise to 550 as your M is a bit too high to push with the 4th nuts here. You kinda want action, maybe a shortstack that will falsely believe he has FE will reraise all in, but he would otherwise fold to an open push. If it was the 100/200 ante stage than I would push.

Your bet there is only going to get called by an ace. Unfortunately, your all-in on the flop kind of screams, "I don't have an ace" and you are probably getting called down by anything by the big stack, including ace-low.

I wouldn't open shove here unless I had already been doing that with several other hands.

I probably check and pray that he checks behind... otherwise fold to his bet and wait for a better opportunity.

I would check/call the flop. Maybe push the turn if villain checks behind.

Check/call? With t1500 in the pot and Hero having 1800 behind, what kind of bet can he really just call on the flop? If Villain bets out 800 or so, a call pretty much commits us to the hand does it not?

Presumably if you check call, you check/call allin. I think that is the idea.

I have mixed feelings about this. If villain has a lower pp, he has a 10% win chance. If he has something else besides an ace or pp, he is probably better than 10%. He is getting 2-1 pots, so folding the flop may not be that big a mistake for him.

I am not sure if betting half pot, pushing, or check/calling is best. I definately am not folding here.

I just shove PF. Once I see the ace high flop c/c is way more +EV than open shoving.

This is how I would play it as well.
