[ QUOTE ]

I think this hand will show I have no idea what I'm doing at times, either that or there's just several ways to play this hand.

The table in general (especially those left to act) limped a lot and called a lot of c-bets, I tend to be tighter with my preflop raises at these tables and limp a little more.

Preflop - very limpy table, thought it was probably to be a multiway pot and small chance anyone raises, most of the guys behind me seldom folded to a c-bet

Flop - It's just me and blinds so I try to take it down, given the tendency to call most c-bets I probably could of checked here, though ace flops seem to get more folds.

Turn.
I'm torn on building a pot with a strong draw, possible winning the pot uncontested, and checking behind and taking a free card and avoid a possible c/r.

River - I have no idea what this idiot is doing, evidently he's really a genius and saw into my soul that I have nothing, and is just teasing me with this weak lead.

I'm so tempted to pop this river.

I don't like your post flop line since you were not aggressive pf. Bet pf otherwise c/f post flop. Your analysis said they won't fold and you have nothing, so why bet? You need to value bet these type of players, not bluff them.

Flop bet is not good b/c you did not bet pf
Turn bet is good b/c of OESD
River - they called turn bet so I doubt they're folding river, mostly b/c they probably don't see the str8 possibility

IMHO you will be betting a lot more often when you have impetus, but that doesn't mean you never bet (bluff) without it.

Bhokie,

I didn't notice the open-limp of JTs in MP preflop. I think you'll be fine if you never do anything like that. If you add to your read that no one ever folds on any street with any piece I might go along.

I think I fold, oop vs tight player. If he likes to raise light after limpers its diffrent... but I suck at cashgame so bad that Id like to hear what those people who can actually play would do ^^
