that play call is putting me on life tilt ... seriously, WHY? [/ QUOTE ] It wasn't the play call it was just Feeley's decision. The only thing I can think of is that he didnt see Samuels. On the replay they showed from his view he had AJ Smith cutting across the field in front of him and the closest pat was about 10 yards away. |

Re: ***Official SNF PHI/NE thread***
mrh,
It was not the play call it was the execution. Was that play designed for Curtis? What route was Westbrook running? What route was Brown running? What was the blocking scheme? Who was the secondary option? What was the Pats defense likely to call? |

How about calling plays that are most likely to keep the clock running. They're called rushing plays. I wouldn't have been as angry if Westbrook ran up the middle in this situation and lost a fumble. |

Re: ***Official SNF PHI/NE thread***
God I'm going to be on life tilt listening to all the bitching from the locals.
What % of the time do you milk 4 minutes off the clock 30 yards from the endzone when the defense has 3 time outs? I like Collinsworth but come on. Give me a 4pt lead w/ 4 minutes left over a tie game w/ 90 seconds left against any team, anywhere, any time. |

Re: ***Official SNF PHI/NE thread***
You are still being really results oriented. Where you complaining when Feeley threw 10 yard passes on first down?
Passing isn't FPS. |
