Default QQ vs. UberNit - HATE it..$5KNL

Read on villain (important): only 200 hands on him, but have him at 13/4 and WTSD of 17%, which (even over just 200 hands) looks like a total nit.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (10 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

MP1 ($5172)
MP2 ($913)
MP3 ($4418)
CO ($4925)
Hero ($6960)
SB ($5332)
BB ($7885)
UTG ($5245)
UTG+1 ($4925)
UTG+2 :#A500AF(UberNit Villain)/ ($5000)

Preflop: Hero is Button with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. MP2 posts a blind of $75. SB posts a blind of $25.
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG+1 raises to $250</font>, UTG+2 :#A500AF(UberNit Villain)/ calls $250, <font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $1250</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 :#A500AF(UberNit Villain)/ calls $1000.

Flop: ($2900) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
UberNit Villain checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $1275</font>, UberNit Villain calls $1275.

Turn: ($5450) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
UberNit Villain checks, Hero checks.

River: ($5450) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
UberNit Villain bets $2475 (All-In), Hero folds.

Final Pot: $10450

Thought process: As soon as the uber-nit cold-called a 5x BB early-position raise, I was concerned. (but then again, there was a MP2 $75 poster in the hand, so I thought that even a nit would re-pop it...but he didn't; but I still put him on JJ+).

1. Comments on preflop re-raise to $1,250? Anyone just call here?

2. Comments on flop bet: $1,275. In retrospect, I think it's a little on the small side, but i was thinking that I'd already defined my hand w/ a huge PF re-pop, so thought that $1,275 would be just as effective representation of an overpair than $2,000 - $2,400, which all but put commits me.

Comments on turn check behind? Blech; just about the last card I wanted to see.

Comments on river fold? What am I ahead of here? JJ, maaaaaaybe 99, KTs - JTs but really don't see an ubernigt calling a $1,250 PF repop w/ any of those...felt fine folding this riv...just wonderng if I should have played the prior streets any differently.

if hes a nit then your preflop play is horrible

edit - misread action ... i thought that nit was UTG+1 who opened to 5bb.

if utg is laggy then preflop is ok i guess but once nit calls 1k more pre i am pretty sure he slowplayed a big PP probably KK or AA only rarely JJ and almost never TT or less. sometimes AK but hes going to cf that on flop

I think your going to see AKss or AA almost every time.

river fold is standard. your not beating anything.
