Default Sunday Mill - resteal was called, now what..

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t800 (9 handed) internettexasholdem.com

Hero (t60488)
CO (t16300)
Button (t30894)
SB (t26400)
BB (t14718)
UTG (t19368)
UTG+1 (t26900)
MP1 (t19918)
MP2 (t61659)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
3 folds, MP2 raises to t3200, Hero raises to t9000, 4 folds, MP2 calls t5800.

Flop: (t18350) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
MP2 bets t4800

Guy runs at 25/19 overall, he somewhat calls loose given proper odds. I think, that I didnt threebet before, but Ive raised a good amount that times (so did he). I hate myself not knowing the meaning of his bet but Im fairly sure its not his standard betsize. Its an easy push with two overcards, but here..
Is floating an option?
Comments appreciated.

fwiw i'm not a big fan of preflop. on this flop I think i'd just fold. your ace outs might not even be good

I'd of course usually fold preflop but okay, you wanted to raise for some reason.

On the flop, I'd usually raise to like 18-19k

Preflop, I don't mind the small reraise, as that represents strength. This is not a good situation for it. Villain raised 4xBB, there are several players to act, and you might as well do this kind of play with a real hand you would consider calling with.

Since villain bet so small, I would flat call and reevaluate. Maybe you will make top pair or a flush draw on the turn.
