I donk the flop here, hoping to get BB with me or getting UTG to raise me.
I'm more inclined to check if the preflop raiser is not the last one to act.

I like river bet size. You make relatively weak hands like AK call, and you might even get a weak hand to try to raise you off it, which would be great.

this is a decent spot for a flop donk, that board could well have hit both villains, it's not very drawy, but there's a few straight draws and 2 paint, so it's not dry enough to be too concerned about entering folderson by donking.... and you can sometimes trap BB inbetween

turn is a blank, villain will often have nothing and fold to a turn donk (the way you played), but if he does have something, he'll often enough bet for value again, as the board didn't change either of your hands, but there are new draws out there, so he'll probably want to bet turn again, instead of checking and betting river, so turn is a good check raise spot

river is fine as you played it, since you're basically looking to get value from 2 pairs and suspicious top pairs

so, overall, i think you may be able to get more value if you donk flop, or check raise turn.... or both

*grunch* I like the preflop call and I love the flop call, but i hate the turn donk. Villain almost certainly has at least a decent hand here given his UTG raise and this flop. He will bet the turn almost always. So check call the turn, and either donk the river or try a more risky river checkraise. What makes your line wrong is that villain probably has a good hand here.

omg c/r the flop. bet more on turn and river here imo.

What hands call a c/r on the flop? If I have a c/r on the flop I am representing KQ at the minimum (I falt called in the SB, I dont ever have AK here).

Since they are decent players, a c/r doesn't extract max value. Sure I let some draws in if the BB has a TJ type hand, but on avg I think its better than folding out everything but KK/QQ/AK (and AK will be folded by winning players a majority of the time IMO - it may get a flop call but probably not much more than that).

Obv if PFR was an aggro drooler Id c/r flop, but good players just arent gonna stack off with AK here, and if he has KQ he only has 4 outs and we are both stacking anyway.

Keik you have a good point about the turn donk though.
