Yeah, this is a beat because you are eating McDonalds ~5 times a week? I can't see how you can be a productive / winning poker player when you are feeding your brain/mind McDonalds and Burger King on a constant basis. Tremendous beat. You're life is a perpetual swim in degeneracy. Your friends should be worried becausea chances are you are either talking way too much about gambling OR are entirely too nervous/depressed/sullen when around them. Either way, no, I don't think it's healthy, I definitely think it's a beat, and you need to make adjustments to your lifestyle as a pro poker player. You obviously have the skill, but putting in some time at gym / better food could do you wonders.

Bislang existierten in Deutschland keine Eliteuniversitäten, wie es sie etwa in den USA oder Großbritannien oder in Frankreich in Form der Grandes Ecoles gibt. Dies liegt zum einen daran, dass in Deutschland der Hochschulzugangsberechtigung eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Vergabe von Studienplätzen zukommt. Dadurch wird verhindert, dass die einzelnen Universitäten nur eine gewisse Elite als Studenten zulässt. Zum anderen ist die Ausbildung der Universitäten keine reine Elitenausbildung, sondern eine breitere Akademikerausbildung. So trifft auch die zweite Definition für Deutschland nicht zu.

Eine Elitenausbildung träfe in Deutschland eher auf die außeruniversitäre Forschung zu. Zu dieser zählen vor allem die Max-Planck-Gesellschaft (Jahresetat: 1,3 Milliarden Euro), die Leibniz-Gemeinschaft (Jahresetat: 1,05 Milliarden Euro), die Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft (Jahresetat: 1 Milliarde Euro) und die Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft (Jahresetat: 2 Milliarden Euro), welche sich stark in der Förderung einer Wissenschaftselite engagieren. Daneben existiert noch die Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (Jahresetat: 1,3 Milliarden Euro), welche in Sonderforschungsbereichen, Schwerpunktprogrammen und Graduiertenkollegs ebenfalls zur Forschungsförderung beiträgt. Diese Gesellschaften fördern auch Universitäten und angegliederte Institute. Darüber hinaus arbeiten sie stark mit Universitäten vor Ort bei der Doktoranden- und Masterausbildung zusammen.

Die hier angegebenen Jahresetatzahlen der Gesellschaften sind dabei im Vergleich zu dem Gesamtjahresetat einer großen Universität wie der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München zu sehen. Diese hat ein Jahresbudget von 1 Milliarde Euro, wobei jedoch allein ca. 60% davon auf das Uniklinikum entfallen[1]. Auch die Universität zu Köln, die Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, die Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen oder die beiden größten Berliner Universitäten (Freie Universität und Humboldt-Universität) haben inklusive der Universitätskliniken ähnliche Budgets. Allerdings sollte man auch berücksichtigen, dass die Forschungsinstitute in der Regel nur Forscher ausbilden und über wenige Institute verfügen, die sehr viel bekommen. Somit sind höhere Forschungsleistungen möglich, was die sehr hohe Anzahl an Preisträgern an außeruniversitären Forschungseinrichtungen zeigt.

Durch die sog. „Exzellenzinitiative“ werden die Mittel gezielt in einem Wettbewerb an Universitäten verteilt. Diese können in engen Fachgebieten Spitzenforschung über 5 Jahre anbieten.

Sounds great right now, if your enjoying yourself, then why stop....the food might need to change though. Start spending some of you monies on steaks and other good food from good restaurants if need be. Just think how your going to look at 40 if all you do is eat fast food and sit on your ass gambling.

If i wasen't engaged and having to work to support a future family, i'd be doing the same thing, minus the fast food and soccer (North Americans dont get excited about soccer, we have way to many other, more hyped sports to lose money on)
