Does anyone know why am I getting a pop-up to sign-in to
"thisisthenuts"

edit: I have never signed up for this company to receive rakeback. I don't like pop-ups asking me for a username and password. I think I posted this in the wrong forum. sorry.

sorry -- yes complete thoughts are important. I was surfing the 2+2 software forum and the secure sign in for theisthenuts came on my screen. I emailed them and they said they are not in anyway connected with 2+2.

It was odd, I have never had it before.

I have gotten it too earlier today. thought it was because I had thisisthenuts ATTEMPTING to load in another tab.

Guess it was from 2+2 ... Oh and I got it browsing the main index so its from an ad.

Not sure how to fix it. If you keep getting it post in About the forums and see what they say.

regardless of how many banner ads are here on 2+2, I find it strange that a pop-up "signin screen" would load onto my screen asking me for a screen name and password.

I got that too. Just an assumption but perhaps 2+2 was accessing a banner ad from TITN that, when loaded, prompted for a UN and PW. I don't know a lot about web design but it seemed like a couple of the ads on the right were still loading when the box came up.
