Default Simple AK Question.

FTP Donkament $75. ~65 Left..Top 45 make money. I have around average at 23K with a sweet M at just under 8

Blinds 600-1200 w/150ante.

No reads just moved to the table.

UTG (has around 25K) immediately pops it to 5200. All fold to hero on the button with AKo. Is this auto push?

Obviously...But usually when you see players make that big of a raise, esp UTG with that stack, you know they are gonna come if you push. If u put their range at AQ+ 99+, is this still an auto push? Race for your tourny life most likely -- at very best ur against AQ, at worst ur against KK or AA. I just feel like I get in these spots deep into the tourny and put myself in a position where I MUST win a race to go far. Is it ever freakin avoidable.

Is there ever any merit in smooth calling this or even folding like a goddam nit knowing u can easily play smaller pots when ur opening?
