Re: Unusual Reaction To Teenage Pregnancy
Holy stereotypes batman. Yes, all latinos pop out a kid by 17 and they all want to have as many babies as possible. Wow, can't believe some of what I'm reading, but okay.
Some latinos, hard as this may be to realize, are not the ghetto gardener supporting 10 kids at home you all envision. |

I've never heard of a mother being upset about becoming a grandmother ever. [/ QUOTE ] I agree with this. This is just true across everyone I know. |

Re: Unusual Reaction To Teenage Pregnancy
I got pregnant at 17, delivered at 18, and my daughter's father was Hispanic with a very large Mexican family. They were shocked/surprised/dismayed that I didn't get pregnant SOONER and when I did get pregnant, I was instantly referred to as his "wife". Different cultures.....
My parents, OTOH, were very upset and took them a few months to come to terms with and accept the pregnancy. Of course at time of delivery (they were there) they were over the moon for their first granddaughter. T |

Nope. She really meant what she said. She really feels happy to have a new baby in the house. It will be like her baby though. [/ QUOTE ] So basically when this baby is an adult she'll find out that her older "sister" is actually her mom (ala Jack Nicholson)... |
