5 Handed 10-20 NL..Villain solid opponent. Mixes up his game alot, and has not shown down a bluff once.

FLOP:

Hero: Checks
Villain: Bets $ 145
Hero: Calls $145

Turn: 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Hero: Checks
Villain: Bets $425
Hero: Calls $425

Pot $1300

River: 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

I know I played this weak and could have repopped on turn, but wanted to control pot size. Please comment on all streets.

I would shove, but if you think he always folds an overpair even getting great odds to call, then I suppose an argument can be made for just calling. I actually think you played this hand fine because it's hard to represent a big hand on this board on the flop or turn.

Absolutely given the board is paired with 33.

Im not folding ...Just wondering if there is +ev in pushing?
I just called river and he showed 74 with worse straight so in hindsight I should have pushed, but do you think he folds overpair on rivershove and just calls with boat or straight i guess in this case?

He will pretty much never fold any made hand to a river checkraise; he'd be getting 5:1 pot odds.
