:g:
I feel weak tight today but, um pre flop could go a lot of ways, folding against unknowns cant be that bad?

Flop is fine, fold turn, fold river. If CO is calling down with AX he has a spade and MP isnt betting and raising 4 streets with AK UI.

Actually, I'm curious about why folding is better than cold-calling preflop. I think capping might be a bit much, though.

Eh, uh I dunno I was just grunching ... but I cant see the cap beeing for value and if you call you might get capped by MP who hasnt really defined his hand yet. That said your implied odds are terrific so folding might be off. Its probably all pretty close.

Mr. C,

Bust out the stove and use ranges typical for unknowns at these limits. That should tell you why I fold preflop.

Thanks.

Implied odds here are indeed good post-flop, but compared to cost of calling might not be enough. I'm going to have to check out the stove and see what's up.

Thanks, Wookie.

Wookie, stove says I'm good to go... but not enough equity to cap.

If folding is correct, I therefore think the problem would be RIO, not SD equity.
