Default AJ in a 3bet pot (help me not frig up this river)

Guy is 20/17/3 and one of the better players on the site. I've been running at about 21/19/5. Only "read" on the player is that he 3bets very big.

Button omgrigged ($621.60)
SB EvilDaniel ($500.20)
BB HERO ($581.28)
UTG MagicMushrooom ($382.00)

HERO delt A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Preflop: , 1 fold, omgrigged raises to 16.00, 1 fold, HERO raises to 46.00, omgrigged calls 34.00.

Flop (102.00) J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
HERO bets 66.00, omgrigged calls 66.00.

Turn (234.00) Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
HERO checks, omgrigged checks.

Went for a c/r ai here. What do you guys think. Is it better to bet/call or bet/fold?

River (234.00) 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
HERO ???

Bet/fold $144 good? Or just c/call?

A bet is FAR superior to a check on the river.

What would he raise the river with besides a bluff that doesn't bet the turn?

Don't think you can bet/fold $144. It screams mediocreness.

Nextgenno,

When I said bet was far better then check, it was with the intentions of calling any raise up to my stack here.

Put it this way. If you are considering b/f'ng the river, then why were you going for a c/r on the this turn?

i like bet/call, but i'd be tempted to make it quite small ~$130 to rep a blocking bet and induce a shove
