top top in 3bet monotone flop vs complete nit
the cold caller of the 3bet is playing 11.7/7.7/infinite aggro #'s over 222 hands. 100% fold to cbet, 0% raise cbet, etc. just very very very nitty. the cold call had alarm bells ringing. other guy is standard tag.

Re: top top in 3bet monotone flop vs complete nit
I can't see a hand he is bet folding here. He must have aces, or AK as well. He's not betting kings/queens on this flop even with a spade.

Re: top top in 3bet monotone flop vs complete nit
this is horrible. I think you have to just bet/fold here. HInt: if alarm bells are ringing, don't checkraise all-in.

Re: top top in 3bet monotone flop vs complete nit
start with assumption #1... he doesn't have aces. he'd 4bet aces almost 100% of the time. His agg factor suggests that to me.
assumption #2... he's a dumb nit, which means he leans too much on his pf edge postflop and just goes with hands postflop. assumption #3... when you check, your hand looks like a mid pair, so you could have induced a bluff. and when you push your hand looks like a draw, so you might get looked up light. std play here is def b/c btw |
