Default Full Tiltaments (part deux)

I recently (over a month ago?) had my account locked at FTP due to "suspicious activity" from bankrolling UK players for various gambling activities and made a large post in this forum about it. After limitninja and others basically trainwrecked the thread and took it on a ridiculous tangent, I had Mike Haven lock the thread. Search for it if you like.

Anyway, after bugging FTPDoug and the support group with emails (most of which went unanswered), I finally get word back from Doug today:

[ QUOTE ]
Hey Kyle,

Sorry for the continued delay. Runner-runner site crashes is always a mess.

We sent final word to CS to re-open and release funds for yours and any
account that was suspended due to the case. While the activity was
unusual (and expensive) from our point of view, we have concluded that
nothing was done to defraud FTP or it's players. We also don't feel it's
right to pass the costs on of the payment processing fees, since we did
facilitate the transfers.

Support should follow up with more details, I just thought you would like
to know as soon as possible.

Again, I'm sorry for the inconvenience, and I hope you see the issues we
were dealing with. If I can help with anything in the future, feel free
to e-mail me.

Sincerely,

Doug

[/ QUOTE ]

For the record, I did offer to pay the transfer fees if they felt that I wasn't giving them enough playthrough to generate MGR for them.

So, it looks like this might be solved once and for all. Neither I nor my acquaintances have heard from FTP support yet, but I just got the email from Doug, so hopefully it'll be all straightened out by tomorrow.

Very glad it has worked out for you in the end. I think FTP Doug usually does more than we give him credit for, but on the other hand it is kind of ridiculous that it took this long.

Its really great that they have a presence here on the forum, but FT really needs a massive support overhaul. Right now they would have zero players if not for their RB and better software than Stars(IMO)

iv followed a lot of these posts. Some end up blowing up in FTPS face, some end up good like this. I think there support overall ended with more good results than bad... especially with credible players, and when we blow a thread up enough to anger the 2p2 community..

on a side not, glad to see kyles avatar is happy again. =\

Again we come to the same old conclusion, we need faster support on your end... i think this would bring in more fish aswell.. good player put up with it for the RB. avg clowns wont

Yeah, still locked here. This is really ridiculous. At least they're doing a good job about communicating with all parties involved, though...

Oh, wait.
