As in how light/with what he calls flop check/raises with and turn bets with etc. and if he's ever turning hands like K3/K6 into bluffs on the turn. |

[/ QUOTE ] Thus the "if he calls too much," meaning that his range of hands for calling you down is wide. You'll be pounding almost all of it, and if he isn't going to fold, you'll get great value by betting every street. The trickiness and deception is only necessary when this isn't true. If a passive player does suddenly wake up and start raising, then yeah, you need to reevaluate. But if the baseline read is that he's a calling station then just hit him until you have some reason to think that he really is unusually strong this time. |
