Default Turned a set facing a 3bet all in.

Very tricky turn, but villain is pretty solid, tight 27/5/1. Am I deep enough to drop this?

77, 33, A7, A6 is pretty much his range. Maybe 76 but unlikely. I guess I call, but I'm not thrilled about it.

stack off. doesn't turning a 2 outer to the second best hand suck? but in all seriousness, theres a lot of two pair hands that you beat. you have to call.

to answer the question regarding stack depth, if you never fold a set for less than 150bb you'll do OK. don't take this to mean ply sets blindly, just don't lose too much sleep, I can't remember the last time I folded a set when the draws didn't hit yet.

Yikes, I don't think so. You are behind to AA/77/45. He could be flying off the handle with 2 pair or be pushin a big combo draw. Stats are a lot less important than how you have seen this guy handle specific hands, so a stronger read would be nice. This hand is certainly not un-foldable, but I would want to know something more about this guy before I drop a set on that board.

Why no 45 in his range or any other 2 pr hand? Villain is SB who wakes up in an unraised pot situation. This hand sucks, but I think I get stacked here as well.

I don't really see why. We're crushed by 77, we have outs against 45 and we're far ahead of two pair (and we crush 33). I happily call.

I call this in a heart beat. I think villain is scared of the two flush draws.

I put him on 45 or a set.. i don't think he slow plays a two pair hand with this many players in the pot. I think you're behind more often then not to make this a fold.

He was. Problem for me was he had 45 for the nuts. If I were a bit deeper, I think I can get away from this, but for 69 BBs, I don't think I could have folded. I really didn't see this guy as the move making type that would do this with some combo draw like 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

When he 3 bet the turn all in, I immediately thought either 33 or 77. I did not even see the straight out there. I called, because folding sets with that little behind doesn't make much sense to me, and rivered an A to fill up.

I don't understand the flop. There's an ace on the board, there's clubs, its super-duper wet. You have a set, and there's draws+big draws+its likely someone hit pair/2pair, why would you check?

EDIT: I forgot another reason, there's 5 people in this pot. I'm convinced you should fold the turn, since you played your set completely backwards IMO your allowed this luxury.
