Default Shoving range in Sunday Hundred Grand

I was arguing with a friend that I should be shoving with any 2 cards given my situation.

I was on the button with an M of 2. Everybody folds to me and I see 72o and shove all-in.

Friend says I should shove most hands, but not total trash.

Who's right in this argument?

When both blinds call: 72o has about 20% equity (4:1) vs. two random hands. Winning means you triple up, or are getting 2:1.

When SB only calls: 72o has 35% equity (2:1) vs. one random hand. You are getting BB (~.3 of your stack) + a full stack from SB, for 1.3:1.

When BB only calls, you get worse odds - 1.17:1 on a 2:1 shot.

Antes make your chip odds a little better, but never enough to exceed your winning odds.

M = 2 means no fold equity, so somebody is calling.

Your friend is right.

Sometime this week (hopefully) I'll post a fun theory post regarding SS play and shoving ranges that works amazingly well for me (and I'd say is probably the biggest factor is my ROI jump).
