How are you U.S. player getting $ out of Fulltilt?

Their check withdraw policy of requiring personal documents discourages me from playing there. I never have had to mail my private document to other sites to request a check.
Its ridiculous. Fulltilt told me it is for security reasons AND to make sure that I entered the correct address when I signed up.
I informed them that my address is correct.
How is a copy of a photo ID going to help them do anything?

I be playing at Pokerstars or Ultimate Bet.

25-35 days does suck!
However, mailing a copy of my passport or drivers license is retarded, especially when other sites do not require this. They can provide me with no direct, reasonable justification other than, its their policy.

I had no hesitation in giving Fulltilt significant business in rake until this bullcrap.

It is standard to require ID at lots of sites. Just scan your documents and photoshop out any sensitive info.

With the amount of scammers and "I've been hacked" threads going around why would providing ID be that big of a deal..Its a simple fax...

I have never had to wait 25-35 days to recieve a check in the mail..I have noy withdrawn from FTP via check but even FCP got me my check in under 3 weeks..

Right now, I've been going the route of sending it to other players by losing pots. (Not by chip-dumping, in case anyone was wondering).

No actually it is not or has not been standard at POKER sites. Pokerstars, Pokerroom, Party Poker, Ultimate Bet and few more have NEVER asked me to send a passport or drivers license.
I have heard of on-line casinos asking for this documentation for players bonus whoring.
