This is a funny quote from that link:

Colleen Boyer, Manager, Customer Service, added: "We care passionately about our company, our employees and our customers. We want to provide the best quality service and we work together as a team to make sure that happens. This award validates the fact that we are an outstanding work environment, gives recognition to the employees, and positions us for substantial growth over the next few years."

" The CCEOC assessment methodology was practical and very effective" says Ms. Boyer.

there'll be 700 dazed, and confused employees at the Calgary location who are just beginning to realise that their stock options are to all intents worthless - no wonder management threw a catered lunch for NT employees per this snippet:

Calgary Herald
NETeller restriction may affect call centre
Eva Ferguson and Deborah Tetley, Calgary Herald; with files from Herald News Services
Published: Friday, January 19, 2007
A former Calgary man at the centre of an international online gambling probe was released into the custody of an FBI agent Thursday and escorted to New York after posting $5-million US bail in the Virgin Islands.

The move comes as the company Stephen Lawrence co-founded in 1999 announced it would no longer handle gambling transactions involving American customers -- causing a ripple effect in Calgary where NETeller operates a call centre with more than 700 employees.

More than 300 of those workers operate the phones.

Lawrence, 46, was released one day after his co-accused, John Lefebvre, a University of Calgary law graduate, posted $5-million bail in Los Angeles.

The men were arrested this week on charges of conspiring to promote illegal gambling, after U.S. law enforcement officials alleged they moved billions of dollars in gambling proceeds to overseas betting operations.

If convicted, the former NETeller directors face up to 20 years in prison.

Lefebvre, a well-known and much-liked philanthropist who donated more than $1.25 million to the U of C's fine arts faculty in 2005, returned to his Malibu home Thursday, according to his housekeeper, Louisa.

"He's fine, everything is fine," she said, adding Lefebvre was not available for comment.

"He came home this afternoon."

The FBI allege more than 80 per cent of NETeller's clients are Americans; the company handled more than $7 billion worth of transactions in 2005.

Some employees in the Calgary branch are concerned business will take a hit.

On Thursday afternoon, several workers at NETeller's northeast office told the Herald they were bracing for layoffs and some said there had already been more than two dozen people let go in recent weeks.

Some of the Calgary employees who spoke to the Herald said they had met Lefebvre and Lawrence socially and were stunned to learn of the arrests.

The employees asked that their identities not be published, as they were under strict orders by management to not speak with the media.

Inside the call centre, employees enjoyed a catered lunch. "I think it's to make us feel better," one woman said.
