Default Home Poker Game in NJ

So I really don't know anyone that wants to gamble in North NJ, and I hate having to drive 1hr 40min to Atlantic City just to get some action. Are there any good places I can go to play some cards? I really don't feel like going into some random person's basement to only get beat up, cheated, or whatever. Is there some public place where there is no smoking where people meet up to play poker?

Good luck with that attitude buddy. I run a home game and no one gets beat up or cheated. We do smoke however, so maybe you can find a friendly game in a nursing home or something.

try Chantix

I tried to quit 15-20 times and had no success

back in June my doc gave me Chantix and I havent smoked for over 4 months now, it was easier than any other time I tried to quit as well.

I don't see what's so wrong about my comments. I just want a place to play where I feel I won't get cheated, and I'm not around a bunch of guys that all know each other except for me.

This doesn't seem so weird to me - a few days ago a 20 yr old person got killed by a meeting through craig's list - not that I think I'd get killed if I met up with some people, but at the same time, I'm not putting myself in a precarious situation just to play some cards.

I've gone to 3 completly random home games. I didn't know anyone at any of them. Now, I consider some of them good friends. Just be aware of your surroundings, be aware of how you can get cheated.

You're standards are a little nuts. No home games? No smoking? Come on.
