Default Do Site Developers Have a Clue???

thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok thok

That's the sound of ONE hand of Omaha being dealt on the BOSS network. Try multi-tabling that.

Select 'sound effects' off and time out because alerts are disabled too.
Delete table sounds (from Program Files leaving alerts) and they get re-installed upon entering site.
Delete after entering site and tables freeze.

Party SNGs now end with a double critical alert sound (even with the sounds off) which scares you into thinking something has crashed every-time you hear it.

Have you tried to replace "thok.wav" with a silent wav of identical size/duration?

(I assume they are wavs, if not, use whatever).

On PokerStars, you can disable or change individual sounds, such as cards being dealt, "attention" chimes, the sound of chip clack during bets and raises, etc.

I don't believe PokerStars is alone in this. Full Tilt lets you choose from "All / Alerts Only / None".

Some site developers do definitely get it.
