Speaking of FPS. A river bet here may get the Button to bluff raise the bb out of a better hand.Even if this only happens a very small percentage of the time,its huge for you.

Well, we sure aren't getting any better hands to fold on the river. We probably beat BTN here so there's value to get from him or not if he was on a draw.

BB could have slowplayed a 65 or peeled with JT (maybe T6) that got scared of the board pairing.

Really tricky T9 could also play like this. The river shutdown could also be with TT-JJ vary of overcards on the flop. Or 87 (and maybe 74). I don't think 55-66 would play this way.

Hero loses:
65/JT = 32 combos
T6 = 16 (discount)
(T9 or other 9x hands being fancy?)

Hero wins:
87 = 9
74 = 9 (discount)
TT = 6
JJ = 6

Hm.. I guess I still want to show my hand down. I check and overcall crying if BTN bets and BB calls (for pot size).

IMO based on your read we couldn't b/f if BTN raises and we end up HU vs him.
