Yeah I was gonna ask about that.. I figured since he'd get in (probably) with any ace I was better off shoving it, but it seemed like such a spot where I could go either way..

That's just a really horrendous card and definitely a time to go into Pot Control mode. It makes blank rivers quite difficult if he leads but I think checking overshadows that difficult spot.

definitely not, I dropped down to 4 tables though, and that's what happened.
