Just to recap:

Tim Tebow threw for 300 yards, 2 TDs. He ran for 120 yards and 5 TDs.

But he isn't the frontrunner for the Heisman because Dennis Dixson's team has less losses and because he is a sophomore.

Locker lowered his head too, both of them dipped the crown of their helmet and hit just right, it didn't look dirty to me, just unfortunate that neither one hit with their head up.

My initial reaction was to say "Yeah, that and he played pretty bad whenever they played a good team" but then I looked it up and he actually played pretty well against some incredibly stout defenses, even though they were his worst games. Also, I did not realize you could just consistently put up a QB rating of 200+ in college...is this rating system like mega-flawed or wtf is going on here? I'm more familiar with the NFL one.

Its possible when you complete 68% of your passes and only throw 5 INTs all year vs some of the best defenses in the country

Yeah, college has a different system than the NFL. The NFL one's capped at 157.5 or something, while you could theoretically get to like 600 in college if you just threw long TDs every play.

These announcers are bad but Hawaii should be on TV more often. Very entertaining team and I'm usually more in the mood to watch games at this time of night than during the day. Also, these games are great for the gamblers looking to get unstuck after a bunch of favorites fail to cover, like what almost certainly happened today. If they can show some 3rd tier MAC game on a tuesday/wednesday night why not Hawaii?

Tim Tebow 5 Yd Run (Joey Ijjas Kick)

big effin deal

if the Florida Gaytors (7-3) had a running back he wouldn't need to carry it in from there.

Go Ducks!

The NFL system bottoms out at zero as well, unlike the college system where it's possible to have a -200 passer rating. Granted you have to go 0 for X with X interceptions, but there's been a few backups to manage that for an entire season.
