biggest mistake for who?

I'd say the biggest mistake at micro limits is playing far too loose.

Id say the biggest mistake is trying to steal every orphan pot multiway with air.

The biggest mistake is making the same mistakes over and over again.

The biggest mistake is that I continue to play this game.

In Small Stakes Hold Em, they suggest not raising with any pocket pair's higher than 99's in this position, but you guys are arguing to raise. Obviously the book is just a guide however why would they not suggest it I am curious.

how this hand got butchered makes me feel smart, so at least your friend provided me that.

Edit: once you understand the ssh ideas it's pretty appropriate to play some hands more aggresively than they suggest, so long as you're aware of when you're beat post-flop. I doubt any of the authors would open limp after 3 folds in this situation.
