Default Learning to value bet

Villain seems to love top pair. I've taken some small pots from him by having sets and having him show top pair ten kicker, top pair nine kicker etc. How's my line, all streets?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

UTG ($24.95)
MP ($7.65)
CO ($81.90)
Button ($26.75)
Hero ($68.65)
BB ($25)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG calls $0.25, 2 folds, Button calls $0.25, Hero raises to $1.5, 1 fold, UTG calls $1.25, Button folds.

Flop: ($3.50) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $3, UTG calls $3.

River: ($19.50) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)

[/ QUOTE ] this kind of worries me(that they're small pots) and you've played a few pots with him and not said how he played those hands which would help out here, not just that "he loves top pair".

I also don't raise preflop.

Possibly bet a bit more on the turn but you've played it fine as it is.

sometimes i just limp pf in SB but thats just preference/villian dependent. Turn bet is too weak id make it like 6-7, River is close if villian was as deep as you id say b/f but i guess c/c is fine, are you callin if he pushs tho?

I'm folding to a push. 3 flush board with this villain is definetly better than top pair. What's the purpose of limping here?

if UTG, BTN, and BB are really loose we raise from SB then play OOP w/ KQ multihanded probably cant even cbet or have to play cautious which i think is the usual scenerio...but like i said preference and/or villian dependent.

You say he'll call all day? Then bet fold the river.

I prefer check/fold over check/call the river too. The draws hit and I dont think he will bet any worse hands here
