$114: KQ on bubble against CLer
Villain is a semi reg. He seems pretty good, but my note on him says he seems to get pretty aggro in later levels with a big stack. Is this okay or just not worth it because of shortys?

Re: $114: KQ on bubble against CLer
Your flop bet looks pretty weak, I wouldn't be surprised if he minraises NE2. However, you should still 3bet AI on the flop, or if you're going to stack off, lead push the turn.

Check calling the turn is really gross. Definitely shove the flop.

Re: $114: KQ on bubble against CLer
I probably let this go pre, for precisely this reason. With those stacks I'm going to be defensive the whole way if I flop TP. And if he just folds then I might as well have had any 2.
Guys, what's so bad about check-calling the turn here? We only beat a worse K or a bluff. With only one card coming, why shove and give either of those a chance to fold? Villian has repped a monster the whole way, why not invite him to continue his charade (hopefully for hero)? "Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake." Re: $114: KQ on bubble against CLer
With 20 bbs and double the stack of the 6bb and 10bb shortys, Im rarely interested in getting involved with the only guy that can bubble me when im playing OOP with KQ TP2k

Re: $114: KQ on bubble against CLer
not sure if it is worth getting involved here at all. as played either check raise the flop or lead bigger.

Re: $114: KQ on bubble against CLer
assuming a 2/3 pot bet, if you check, you've got like exactly a pot sized checkraise left. so i do that.

Re: $114: KQ on bubble against CLer
I would probably crai on the flop. His cbetting range is much wider than his bluff raising range.

I agree with a CRAI here, although I don't like getting involved here OOP.

Re: $114: KQ on bubble against CLer
i was gonna say crai on the flop, but then i remember people rarely lead a king here (at least not at the 60's), so i like that lead a lot. let villian put you on 99 and min raise the flop, then you can 3 bet-allin on the flop.
