Default Short stack question...

When against a player with less than half the full buy-in, I am willing to get it all-in pre-flop with AK. Now say they just call my raise, and I miss the flop. Should I still be willing to get my money in. It feels like I am giving up too much by seeing flops with AK and folding against shortstack pushes when I miss. Should I be calling pushes post-flop with AK high, or pushing when I get donked into, knowing the shorty is unlikely to fold a pair?
