Default Jet Biased or correct?

Jets -3 vs Miami. Am I biased towards my team or do others really like the Jets here? They got blown out by the Pats and lost to the Ravens so my thought process is that they might be undervalued here.

Agree and I'm on this for a unit. Miami is awful, Jets were playoffs last year and lost to SuperBrady and on the road vs. the Ravens who have the best home record over the last seven years. Mangini also has a good record after a loss. They're better than their 0-2 record indicates and IMO undervalued here.

Line hasn't moved so far, though.

I think Miami is better than their record show as well. The Dallas game was closer than the score indicates.

Also, as far as I know Chad Pennington is still out.

I dont see much value in this line.

According to the Newark Star-Ledger, Jets QB Chad Pennington will start against the Dolphins in Week 3 barring a setback.

Pennington and Clemens are interchangeable. He's a good young QB that handled himself in a hostile environment and against an attacking defense that averaged almost four sacks per game last year. If it weren't for three drops he'd have brought them back and tied it from a 4th Q 14 point deficit. Pennington being out is not a downgrade for this team.

Jets lost to two very strong playoff teams last year that should be very good again this year, in one case losing a close game. Dolphins may have played closer than the score in Dallas, but they lost to two NFC teams (NFC < AFC) and are on the road.
