villain is unknown obv.
after the raise I wanted to shut down completely and fold to any action on any street.

I think the prelflop raise with such a junky hand is pretty marginal in what looks like a a very loose passive game ( as i would guess most 100nl games are.) Apart from that your play looks fine.

You don't want to isolate somebody with a 40BB stack with Jack high preflop, especially when the BB is also short.

The less money your opponents have the tighter you should play preflop because they will play fairly well against you postflop since they won't have expensive decisions to make.

If he limps I fold but he posted oop so I decided to try to take it down. The game was not l/p obv. otherwise I would not have played the hand. It was more like 2 bad shortstacks (BB had a vpip&lt;30) and 2 nits.
