Default Poker and Music

Hey all, 3 part question:

1) do you listen to music while playing poker?

2) do you think this benefits your play in anyway?

3) do you have an mp3 player?

----------------

1) yes, lots of Frank Sinatra.

2) i really think it helps with keeping me from tilting and with observing the other players (assuming the music isnt load enough to block out all table chat). i find i get distracted by convo easily in live games/surf the net online, but listening to music helps keep me focused on the game.

3) yes, a brand new iPod with video (30gig)

1) not generally, but sometimes I will

2) I am a little strange in that nowadays I try to avoid having music on as background. I like to give it my full attention. so I guess I don't think it hurts my poker playing in any way, but it does detract from my listening experience.

3) yes, an old 30gb ipod and a 5g nano.

Yes

I have a computer that plays mp3s.

However, i have a bad habit of opening 1 song and listening to it for a 4 hr session (right now ive been listening to limbeck - honk + wave for the 100000 th time through, last night it was Common- The corner and yesterday I think it was panic at the disco.)
